Godless Gospel to perform off-Broadway in NYC — You’re invited! Monday, June 24 and Tuesday, June 25
The Freedom From Religion Foundation is delighted to announce that its myth-dispelling ensemble, āGodless Gospel,ā will perform in New York City on Monday, June 24, and Tuesday, June 25, at Theatre 555, 555 W. 42nd St. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. both nights for the provocative show produced by FFRF Co-President Dan Barker and directed by former gospel artist Andre Forbes. Other performers include: Tahira Clayton, Candace Gorham, Heather Kinley, Cynthia McDonald, DeAngela Morant, Steven Phelps, and Mandisa Thomas. August 31-September 1, 2024 ā FFRF Co-Sponsoring Celebrating Dissent Oslo (Oslo, Norway)
FFRF Co-Presidents Annie Laure Gaylor and Dan Barker will be attending Celebrating Dissent Oslo, on August 31st through September 1st, 2024 in the capital city of Norway, Oslo. FFRF will be one of many co-sponsers of the event, and Barker and Gaylor will be joined with more than 50 other freethinking groups from over 30 different countries. The two-day conference is a continuation of the widely successful Celebrating Dissent conferences held in London, Amsterdam, Cologne, and Paris, in what has become the largest gathering of ex-Muslims in the world. Organized by the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain and DĆømmekraft, the event will pay tribute to taboo-breaking ex-Muslim comedian Shabana Rehman and celebrate blasphemy, apostasy and freedom of expression through discussions, poetry, film, protest art, and music.
